Police have issued images of two men they want to speak to after a group of teenagers were robbed while waiting for parents to pick them up.

The Galleries Shopping Centre have welcomed the installation of an automated external defibrillator (AED) donated by the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). The AED is based in Leigh Arcade and sixteen shopping centre staff have already been trained to use the defibrillator.

High schools across Wigan are celebrating another successful year of achievement with the release of the full GCSE exam results data for 2011.
